At Confident Smiles, our desire to help people achieve their best possible dental results works in tandem with our genuine passion for oral health to create an environment that is warm, friendly, and compassionate. Patient comfortability is of the utmost importance to us, as it enables us to cultivate and maintain the meaningful, trusting relationships that have existed at the core of our practice for over 20 years.
Through the provision of expert dentistry and quality care, we aim to help each patient achieve a healthy smile that exudes confidence! We also strive to equip our patients with the resources and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions regarding their treatment options and to maintain optimal oral health between visits.
Establishing Rapport
Prior to beginning your dental evaluation, we will take a moment to get to know you and develop a concrete understanding of your dental goals including your concerns about your oral health, dental history, and smile appearance. We will work with you to answer any initial questions you may have in order to ensure your utmost comfortability, and will give you a brief overview of exactly what to expect next.
Comprehensive Oral Exam
You will then receive a comprehensive oral exam of your teeth, gums, jaw joints. This examination will include taking any X-Rays necessary to properly diagnose you and identify your best treatment options. (Note: If you have recently had X-rays at a different office, please let us know when you schedule your initial appointment so that we may work with you to make arrangements for them to be provided to our office.)
Optional Basic Cleaning
Basic teeth cleaning, which we recommend be performed twice per year, is optional during the initial visit so long as your comprehensive oral exam confirms that your gums are healthy.
Treatment Planning
Your initial visit will end with a discussion about your treatment options and the establishment of your treatment plan. You will receive any diagnosis confirmed during your visit and will work with the doctor to determine what your next steps will be on your journey to optimal oral health!
